Hi,
Back in October, my wife got very ill. While in ICU, she began having seizures, then developed TTP, a rare blood disorder. She also, before we took her in, had high fevers, which is why we brought her to the hospital in the first place. She was discharged Dec 23. She now suffers some brain damage and short term memory loss. Actually, she has some long term memory loss as well. I’m wondering if you can suggest anything for me regarding ‘exercise your brain’?? I have signed up in Brain Pages and just came across you. I’m hoping that some of these exercises within your site will help….I know it can’t hurt.
Hi Dawn,
I am so glad you’ve joined us. Is your wife in any kind of rehabilitation currently? With a case like hers I would suggest printing out the info pages of a couple of brain training programs (Lumosity, BrainBuilder, Posit Science) and then take them to her personal physician so he or she can look at the types of exercises and see if they would be appropriate for her at this time in her recovery. I know that’s not the answer you were looking for, but I think it’s the best advice I can give.
Erin

Ah, yes, perhaps they need a warning not to try these tricks at night. :-)
