Below you will find the solution to the Fill In The Gap #1 puzzle.

**Sequence 1: **

E J **?** T

The answer is O. Going through the alphabet, there are 4 letters between E and J. There are 4 letters between J and O, and there are 4 letters between O and T.

(**E** f g h i **J** k l m n **O** p q r s **T**)

**Sequence 2:**

5, 7, **?** 17, 25

The answer is 11. The key is to look for a pattern within the sequence.

5 plus **2** equals 7

7 plus **4** equals 11

11 plus **6** equals 17

17 plus **8** equals 25

The pattern that leads to your solution is a series of even numbers starting with 2: 2,4,6,8

**Sequence 3:**

R N **?** F

The answer is J. Going through the alphabet *backwards*, there are 3 letters between R and N. There are 3 letters between N and J, and there are 3 letters between J and F.

(**R** q p o **N** m l k **J** i h g **F**)

I missed the same one. I picked 10 instead of 11.. I like this, make a person use their brain. It helps especially as we slowly age.

Thank you so much, it’s appreciated.

I did look for patterns and got both of the sets of letters correct, but missed the number because I saw a different pattern. The pattern I saw was that the number was repeating every other time, so that it would’ve been 5, 15, 25 and then for the the 7, it would have been 7, 17 and thus it would be 27 next.
